Thats because GGG did win the first fight clearly, and an Adylide type of scoring for GGG wouldnt have been that far off. While an Adylide type of score for the Canelo is utterly rediculious.

That's what Roy Jones said when watching the replay after the round, that GGG wasn't hurt by the right hand, that Canelo deflected GGG's right hand which knocked GGG off balance. Surely Canelo putting the glove up put GGG off balance, but GGG had a habit in this first match of trying to quickly respond with a punch after Canelo lands something big on him. You can see the sweat spraying off of GGG's head from that big right hand by Canelo, and immediately after takng that shot GGG instinctively throws that right hook which Canelo easily pushed away. But you can't tell me that GGG being put off balance like that didn't have something to do with that big right hand. A lot of times in boxing a big punch can have a delayed reaction, and a fighter instinctively tries to return fire after getting hit with a big shot.

Sure, on the surface, Canelo deflecting the shot caused him to go off balance, but that was only part of it. GGG did not have proper balance because he was in the process of absorbing that shot when he started throwing the right hand. The technique on that looping right hand from GGG was all wrong. For GGG to be thrown off balance like that from a simple upward movement by Canelo's glove as he was throwing a right hand? GGG didn't have his balance because he had just absorbed such a big shot, and he was trying to return fire too fast to show that he wasn't hurt. The delayed reaction from the big Canelo right hand caused GGG to lose balance when Canelo skillfully redirected that right hand. He sensed that GGG was hurt by the punch, and the crowd rose to their feet. You can't explain away that organic moment, the moment that the crowd knew that Canelo had just hurt GGG, and GGG was stumbling around after being hit with a big sweat sprayting right hand. The mighty GGG had been hurt.

Isn't it funny, both of those guys disagree with you on rounds 1, 2 and 3. dmt meant Canelo? I doubt it, he clearly said GGG won rounds 2, 3 and 12. I know, crazy right. And Quina said GGG won round 3 and round 2 was "even" at best. So, face it, you guys might be in agreement that GGG won, but ya'll clearly disagree on which rounds Canelo won.

No, not hurt just off balance. It was like a wrestling move, a timing move. I used to wrestle for 12 years, i recognize this stuff, you put someone on their ass with the slightest stuff, he didnt need to be hurt to be pushed off balance.

I feel like this kind of a response is only going to take us in circles and steer us away from the areas that we can agree on, like the scoring of rounds 2, 3 and 12 for Canelo which m.s. and dmt disagree with. Obviously you know I disagree with you scoring rounds 4-11 all for GGG. That's utterly ridiculous to me. The match was very even, you admitted yourself it was "extremely competitive". Oddly enough you'd score a supposed extremely competitive contest 7 rounds in a row for the same fighter. But I guess lets hash out round 10 first and GGG stumbling around the ring twice. Then we can team up against Quina and dmt and tell them why they scored these rounds so wrong.

I mean the CROWD certainly thought GGG was hurt. You and RJJ trying to ratonalize it, as "no he wasn't hurt from the punch, it was just Canelo moving his arm". First of all, the only reason why Canelo was able to time that move to push away GGG's right hand away is because GGG's right hand was so slow moving and predictable because GGG had just been rocked with a huge shot. Obviously Canelo could see that punch coming from a mile away because he had just landed a huge one-two on GGG.

If GGG was just throwing a regular right hook Canelo would never have been able to time his glove like that to deflect it out of the way, and GGG would never be so off balance. He was off balance and stumbled because he had just absorbed a big shot and tried to return fire too fast and he became all discombobulated.

You know it's true, GGG was stumbling around in that 10th round, a round that you scored for GGG. Doesn't make sense to me, but to each his own I guess. I don't score rounds for guys getting rocked then stumbling around the ring. Canelo easily put GGG off balance by barely lifting his glove up G nearly fell over lol. You don't nearly fall over like that from a glove lightly pushing up on a normal right hand, you fall over like that because you're off balance from absorbing a big shot and you're trying to return fire too fast without having your feet under you. Don't need to be a lawyer to see that GGG was affected by that punch. Was he hurt? Hard to say, but he certainly looked hurt, the crowd certainly reacted like he was hurt. Seeing GGG stumble around like that was a big moment for Canelo. He sensed blood in the water.

I would love to see GGG fight Canelo III but not in Vegas. Let Canelo go fight GGG in Kazachstan. GGG came to Sin city twice & got screwed. But Canelo aint got the balls as proven when GGG offered him to fight in MSG.
The answer was NO!! Vegas only
