Who do you think won? Castillo vs Mayweather

A lot of people overlook the Castillo 1 robbery because of the rematch, which Floyd clearly won

the fact is Castillo still won the 1st match and got robbed

I thought Castillo did enough to retain his title but it was close enough not to be a robbery.

The rematch was a fairly close fight too. Whenever I watch it I don't see the landslide Floyd points win everyone else seemed to see. Floyd won, no doubt about it, but it was a competitive win. IMO Castillo has a style that made it hard for Floyd to put his offense together consistently.

With the exception of Phillip N'Dou fight Floyd's performances at 135 (Castillo I&II, Sosa) wasn't impressive.

 

I only scored it a draw and Mayweather win. Never scored it for Castillo

I think the commentators and Harold's scorecard were the reasons many thought this was a robbery.

There were at least 4 swing rounds that could have been scored either way. So while Harold's scorecard seems wide at 115-111, he probably just gave Castillo all the close rounds.

A lot of people bring up the compubox but you can't seriously believe them once you see the fight and notice that Castillo doesn't really dominate like they suggest.

This is a fight with lots of swing rounds that many people are calling a robbery just because they dislike the announced winner.

 

Is it just me or did Castillo have more facial bruising and swelling after the fight?

it's pretty close when you consider two factors

1. Floyd is the most hated Boxer
2. People claim this was a robbery, not a close fight, but actually robbery.

You'd expect it to be 200-15 after those two factors come into play.

No he shouldn't have. It was a fight with many close rounds. You probably "wanted" him to lose, but he "shouldn't" have lost.
