Diaz. Others have questioned Hendricks ground game and I question his striking. He looks too one dimensional a striker with a limited arsenal. Yes he has thunder in his hands, but other than that whats he got? So you gotta ask is he skilled and experienced enough to out think and out manouever GSP? Nah, GSP dictates the direction of the fight, he manages and controls Hendricks pretty easy.
Agreed to an extent. But the thing is, we know that Hendricks only has to win 1 second of the fight, and he's the new champ. :good :hat
I'd still honestly like to see him fight Silva. I think Silva will tear GSP a new dick hole, but it's not an unwinnable fight for GSP. I think people are a over it because of all the noise Jones has been making and because of the growing back log of fights at 170 in GSPs absence. But still, both these guys are current P4P greats and both are the legit ATG in their division.
He has wrestling but, i doubt he can stuff GSP for long. One other thing he has in his favor is the fear that will be in GSP's heart when they are standing :hat edit: oh and hes a south paw. I think that may give GSP some trouble.
This, Johnny is getting Koschecked. A punchers chance is all well and good, but for me the guy with the best chance of that was Condit. He deserves his chance to prove us wrong though no doubt Id like to see the Diaz fight most. Yes, Nick has done almost everything humanly possible to **** this up and maybe has to get a win or two to ''earn'' it. But it's a good old fashioned grudge match and Nick has more tool in his arsenal to make this somewhat competitive than anyone GSP hasnt already out classed These two want to fight, so let them.
Two days left for you to man up and honor the bet? I won't hold my breath. YOu were raised by riff raff and you act accordingly. My expectations were low coming into this bet. Guess I'll just have to find a person of higher birth to place wagers with from here on out.
Hendricks is his mando so that is who I want to see. The Silva fight is a money maker for UFC and nothing else. If they want the best P4P versus the best P4P then lets see Jones vs Silva.
Not sure if GSP has hired Lamsonkram permanently, but if he hasn't he should think about doing so especially if he has to fight Hendricks. Being a southy in any form unrestricted striking combat can be a disadvantage unless you are a righty convert. You're "open" or less gaurded side makes you very open to back leg round kicks (power kicks) from an orthodox fighter, you can't miss. Anyway, if GSP is stronger on the ground as most of you fellas are suggesting I assume Hendricks is gonna wanna stand up and fight. Well if Lamsonkram is still his striking trainer it's meat and patatoes for any Muay Thai tactician to come up with a plan to negate and work round a single shot one punch fighter, that's if GSP is up to the grade strikingwise. Not looking good for Hendricks. :-(
He should be...GSP striking ability are existent, he just doesn't seems to want to use them anymore !
GSP has never mentally recovered from Matt Serra exposing GSP's Glass Jaw. GSP is going to be nervous like **** against Hendricks.
