Who does Floyd Mayweather fight next? Make your "official" pick.

As I listen to all the bickering on these board about Mayweather, between detractors and supporters (some of which are loyal to a fault), I was wondering who Floyd fights next? In my opinion, based upon all I have seen with my very two eyes, up to this point... well I'm not sure. I, like many of you listened to the most recent interview on the radio with RA. One comment Floyd made really caught my attention: "Don't knock my hustle." It has become painfully clear to me that Floyd Mayweather clearly does not want to test himself in the slightest form. Every time a legitimate threat is posed to him in conversation, it becomes "My team picks and chooses my fights." When it is a marginal threat, a fight he is sure he will cleanly outbox his opponent it becomes " I'm my own boss!!! I choose who I fight!!!"

For every Shane, Cotto, P. Williams type fighter out there Floyd Mayweather has an excuse. No matter how old, recent, relevant, inaccurate, the man has an excuse. Hell, he won't leave 1999 alone when it comes to Shane Mosley! To be quite honest with you... I'm not sure if we will ever see the man in the ring again because we, the fans (not all), have been conned enough into buying his fights that he may have secured himself an outlet to make a substantial fortune doing other ventures on name alone. Power to him. But please,... Negro please, STFU about being the greatest.

I rambled I know. I live in Humboldt County, what can I say? My official pick for Floyds next opponent-I'm torn. Since I made the thread I feel I can only make one pick. I'm going with my man Pacquiao. He's naturally smaller, aggressive, and should APPEAR to play right into Floyd's hands. The money and the name is there, so Floyd sees easy pickings and a massive payday.

If Pacquiao loses, do not expect Floyd to fight Cotto. The next logical choice for Floyd is Berto, which is contingent upon him beating Shane, or maybe even taking the fight outright. He's made it clear he's not fighting Shane Mosley. If neither of these scenarios plays out where Floyd feels the risk/reward ratio is to his benefit look for him to retire again. Mark my words.

You may have gotten a PPV buy or 3 :smoke from me before Floyd, but I promise you you won't "hustle" me again. I'm not lining your pockets if you choose to fight again and its another fight where I know its a no-hoper. It's called live stream buddy, look it up.

Official pick: Pacquioa. If not, retirement.

If Pacquiao loses to Cotto, it will be Pacquiao.

If Pacquiao beats Cotto, negotiations will be at a deadlock and Mayweather will fight either Berto,Khan, or maybe even a Hatton rematch.

I have to assume Mayweather's silence is because he's waiting on the outcome of Pac/Cotto

  11. The Pac-Cotto winner. This thread is stupid, just like most of the others on this board. Every single thread is about Cotto, Floyd, and Manny. Lame.

Win or lose Pacquaio even then the fight probably wont happen because Mayweather will demand a 65/35 split in his favor im sure. Probably Khan that'd be the path of least resistance and I think Khan has a lot of fans in the U.K maybe Berto.
