It is not the ranking (you correctly point out that being placed above these guys you mentioned is an enormous rap). I am more interested in your comments that he was significant but not a phenomenon. Which other fighter achieved what i listed? Or what does a fighter need to do to become phenomenal.
I'll admit, it wasn't a well thought out comment. I don't think much of Fitzsimmons' opposition compared to the others, even if some were outweighing him. He just doesn't do it for me, not enough to be rated in the top five anyway.
