Who else thought that Lara ran from Canelo?

Somewhere late in the 3rd round Canelo hit Lara with a body shot that convinced Lara he better not stand still and he continued to run for the rest of the fight. The funniest part was when he tried to compare himself to Floyd.

 

If by run you mean bobble head that *****, then yes. Lara ran all over canelos face.

 

first off dude if you ain’t trying to debate you can eat a d!ck just because you a meat rider who is fan of fighter winning on internet boards instead of the actually ring means nothing... you want actual stats in Canelos lone loss Mayweather landed a total of 220 and Lara landed 97 Mayweather outlander Canelo by over 100 punches Lara by 9, playing tag isn’t boxing and Lara didn’t do anything but run his ass half way across the ring and try to play tag like that gonna win... fans like you trying to prop up this performances is an embarrassment to the sport of boxing... but carry on man

 

dude Mayweather consistently outlanded opponents by damn near double, as well as double in power punches, trying to compare the 2 is irresponsible

 

I thought it was closer on a rewatch, but still see it for Canelo.

There are more people who know nothing about boxing, like every teenage girl in Mexico, and an inordinately large percentage of people on this forum, than people who have an extensive and objective knowledge of boxing.

That's how the popularity vote gets Canelo over the line against anyone he fights, regardless of what happens in the fight.

 

Fight was a draw. Neither guy did anything.

 

Imagine a bunch of fellas was at the bar drinking beer and playing pool.. We all talking about sports and this fight came up and you come in and say this.. You sound like a complete weirdo (no offense)..lol Can you have real conversations without talking like a 8th grader away from his parents for the first time?

 

i think the majority of the fellas at the bar would agree with me. Canelo's fans are casuals that know little about the sport & little teenage girls. No one really respects the way he acts

 

I had it a draw some years ago.
I don´t remember being generous to either man in scoring.

 

Canelo won. I was rooting for Lara low key.
Lara's whole game is fundamentally amateur. If this was based on punches cleanly landed he probably would have won, but you cant win a pro fight backing up.
It was a good fight tho.
