 Oh **** then, if you get outlanded for two rounds on compubox you lose the fight no matter huh. Lucky punch, haha, you're too blind in faith for Khan to actually look into what the OP is saying, you'll never see it, so stay in la-la land and enjoy. Meanwhile, Garcia TKO4. :hi:

I'm not saying Garcia's victory wasn't legitimate, I'm not saying he cheated and I'm certainly not saying he isn't a decent boxer...I'm just saying attributing his victory to intricately devised strategy or genius improvisation is wrong. Khan was out boxing Garcia who continued throwing his hook hoping it would catch Amir's Jaw, well he got lucky. Was also surprised he took so long to finish off Khan. Khan almost survived the 4 th and may well have recuperated.

He looked better than about 5 of his last fights I saw, faster, sharper and good ring generalship not to mention power. I was very surprised by the result.

i don't know - he did a good job gambling in exchanges, and it paid off well for him...

Garcia WAS noticeably catching Khan here and there in exchanges in the first 2 rounds, though Khan definitely won both of them. I knew that if the fight continued on, that Khan would get caught more often. I wasn't anticipating on Khan getting blasted down though lol....

I was fairly impressed. He started catching Khan more frequently as the rounds progressed. I still think he can be disarmed and confused, but Khan chose not to try that and played into Garcia's strengths perfectly.

yup and Garcia beats Khan 10/10.

Time to give him some credit instead of blaming a poor Khan performance only. Dude was timing that hook from round 1 and you could tell from the get go that although amir was winning the rounds garcia was landing and fighting well and it was only a matter of time before he caught Amir. I thought Khan would avoid everything for quite a few rounds and still gave Garcia a shot of catching him late but you knew things were going bad for Khan when Garcia was already connecting in round 1 and then in round 2 slipping and blocking/parrying a lot of Amirs best shots and connecting more and more with his. Once he tasted Khans power he had no respect for it and by round 3 he was just walking through everything Amir threw, it wasn't a matter of Khan being pissed off and throwing caution to the wind to get the KO, he didn't look like he was trying to KO Danny at all. Danny would have eventually caught him and always will vs Amir. He showed good D, great chin and good skills....also intelligence with not rushing the finish and punching himself out, instead placing his shots like a poised veteran. Garcia did a great job and he's a very solid and well rounded fighter who will be around at the champion level for a longtime and A fighter just short of elite imo.

i need to re watch it.

I saw khan dominae garcia. who landed a hail mary punch that changed the game.

i personally wasn't impreased by garcia, and think alexander maidana, bradley peterson judah malignaggie are all better than him

Yeah, rewatch and focus on Garcia's work. He's landing counters to Khan's head from the opening minute.

    Ok will do.

FYI, I also prefer your funny threads.

This thread reminds me of the 2nd half of Robyn Williams career.

Agreed but most of the guys who fit that description have already moved up to 147. I honestly only see him struggling with Marquez, Peterson and Judah...assuming Zab shows up in the same condition as he did against Parris.

How about you stop taking Compubox as gospel and realise that it actually counts for jack **** :good
Watch the fight with your own eyes instead, you'll see Garcia landing the better shots in the first 2 rounds.

I thought Khan won the first 2 rounds first time I watched as well, when I watched again I noticed how Khan was actually landing next to nothing other than onto Garcia's arms. Garcia actually lands better shots and more often Khan.
