Not only do you have a foul mouth but you also can't read.... I never said Ali never gave Joe credit....he did not give Joe any credit for years. He had every excuse under the sun for his loss to Frazier in 71. He convinced all his fans that he really deserved and indeed he won the first fight. This is Widely known so again you show your ignorance concerning boxing history. I won't even debate this one...it's boxing history 101... Study up and wash your mouth out with soap in the process,

has anyone seen arthur abrahams jaw x-ray? Ali didn't have the visable swelling like ricky burns or abraham, but his break was a lot cleaner than burns's.

 

Heck he insisted for years he was robbed and that he really won that fight never giving Joe credit for the victory.

You made a point of telling the board that you met Joe Frazier a few times and he was a genuine nice guy.

Tell me, had you met Ali would you have told him he was a liar, regarding the broken jaw?

 

Met Ali many many times...Shavers, and also Foreman. Met Ali the first time in 75 and spent many days at his camp in Deer Lake. Good friend of mine from NJ was a sparring partner of Alis for his bout with Shavers so I practically lived at Alis camp prior to that bout.

The point is Ali spent all his time after losing to Frazier exclaiming he really won the fight. He did so by pointing out the judges were white, Frazier was an Uncle Tom, Frazier spent time in the hospital after the fight while he did not....etc. This is very very well known boxing history. Many who were over the top Ali lovers believed what they heard. Those that saw the fight and were objective saw the true tale.

So far you don't know anything of the controversy regarding when Alis jaw was broken and nothing about Ali slamming Frazier, the judges and denying Fraziers victory to the media after losing fight one. Does not look good for you at all. you really do lack very basic knowledge of boxing history. Not much I can do for you. Start studying up.

Oh yes....where is your evidence Alis jaw was broken in round one...which was then changed to round two? So far zip from you. Just words in an effort to back peddle away from the fact...there is no evidence that supports Alis jaw breaking in round one...or was it round two?

Look up any newspaper account from the time all you will read is how Ali says he really won the fight, the judges were white and Frazier was an Uncle Tom.

Do your own research I am tired of trying to educate you.

Where is your evidence that Alis jaw was broken in round one which Alis doctor changed to round two? Three days and you have shown nothing.

 

After FOTC Ali went to Flower Fifth Avenue Hospital and had X rays taken of his swollen jaw, they proved to be negative.
Pacheco wanted Ali to stay overnight but he refused, the X rays were later stolen.

Yes it is. I never stated Alis jaw was broken by Frazier. My comments regarding a broken jaw in either of the threads deal with his fight bout with Norton.

Frazier spent significant time in the hospital while Ali did not. The point is Ali used the race of the judges, Joe being an Uncle Tom and the extent of Joes stay in the hospital to convey that he really won the fight and the decision was taken from him unjustly. That's boxing history 101 and this snippet from the NYTimes a few months later sums it up nicely......

That really sums up perfectly what Ali did in the months after losing to Frazier. Like the broken jaw in round one many of Alis fans bought it hook line and sinker. Those "in the know" did not.

Frazier won fight one and it's quite evident that is also my opinion based upon my posts. And you don't hear "crap" from me concerning Ali...I rate him as the best.
