Holmes floored Ocasio with the Jab, and is arguably the greatest Jabber of the Heavyweights.Hearns had a great Jab, but Holmes takes this.

    I have to say Holmes.
    It was Larry's major tool.
Tommy's was brilliant but it wasn't his main weapon.

Hearns. No question about it for me. Quite surprised by this thread. Seems like everyone's just going with the popular opinion.

On paper Holmes. Only until you start watching the fights where he struggles with those inconsistent 80s heavyweights is where you realize Hearns is the much clearer pick here. Holmes is the stereotypical answer to this question. And while he does have a great jab you can't say it's better then Hearns in my opinion

Holmes was what 53 years old when he beat Butterbean? And he beat Butterbean because of his jab alone-his jab was so great that even at 53 it was still a good weapon.

    Holmes shades Hearns.

Butterbean was **** but your missing the point.Even at 53 WAY past his prime-his legs and reflexes long gone Holmes jab was still like a whip.

Holmes had the best jab I ever had the pleasure of seeing. second place goes to Ike Quartey.
Hearnes jab was not close to Larrys.

Holmes was harder than Hearns. No question. Hearns jabs stung and busted up, Holmes jabs did all that and floor people.

Its close in every category, but Holmes undoubtedly shot the harder stick.

I'd go with Hearns on the basis that Holmes could be outjabbed, Hearns wasn't

'Holmes' jab' is basically an internet meme, like Chuck Norris or Montreal Duran
