Neither do anything that will give Oscar any trouble. But if I had to pick I guess you could say Hatton because he's a more dedicated body puncher of the two and Oscar has never liked it to the body. With that said both have the same defensive liabilities and both lack size.
Pac because of the style matchup. He can outspeed and outwork Oscar. Hatton is just too easy to hit and will be a more stationary target for Oscar.
Ricky Hatton is naturally bigger than Manny. Hatton but again De La Hoya is naturally bigger than him.
Neither of them have much of a chance. Pac is just too small and Hatton has no defense against left hooks when lunging in like an amateur. Malignaggi didn't have the power to even stun Hatton but ODLH would lay him out with one solid shot. Someone should seriously consider telling Hatton to keep his right up if has to lunge in shooting a wild left hook from the outside. Every time I see him do it I cringe. He's extremely fortunate that Paulie can't bust an egg.
Pacquiao. Better defense, better movement, faster hands. Hatton just eats punches and against Oscar, that's suicide. Hatton's size advantage over Manny meaning nothing, because Hatton would be murdered.
Pac Man for sure, Hatton is only a better pressure fighter but he lacks the Hand Speed, head movement, foot work and punching variety than Hatton. Now this doesnt mean that Pac Man will beat Hatton:deal
