Says the ******* with the Hopkins namesake, cause Hops is always fun to watch right? Speak for yourself douche bag. I enjoy watching Wladimir methodically dismantle his opponents & he usually caps it all off with a nice, highlight reel KO. Maybe you prefer toughman contests where 2 brutes flail away at each other?
C'mon folks, we're talkin' about concussive 1 punch power, not speed, defense or technique. They'll be other threads for that in the future..............
Just to break the mold i am a Hopkins fan (his fights aren't that exciting anymore but you gotta love his skill), but Wlad hits much harder and its not even close. Not only is there not much between them in hand speed but Wlad throws much much straighter with even more effect vs proven heavies (what has Haye proven at heavy?) Imagine the damage Wlad would do if he would loadup in a "hayemaker" style punch. Haye hits hard and is exciting though, but people jump on the bandwagon too soon.
wlad hits harder, because he is so much bigger. But, Haye can hit you with shots you can't see because of his speed. I think Haye might hurt his opponent faster than Wlad can. If they fight, it will be a very interesting fight to watch. I think Wlad's defense and generalship holds up better than Haye's, and Wlad wins by KO.
Hard for Haye to win this one....Hes just coming up from cruiser and his power is being compared to one of the biggest hitting "Big men" out there. With that being said p4p Haye's power is much better....let him put on another 30lbs and then compare them!
Wlad hits harder. Wlad is also the better boxer and has the better chin. The one thing Haye has over Wlad is speed and also an aggression. That is Hayes only shot in any fight with Wlad, landing first with a bomb that Wlad doesn't see. He has a punchers chance and that is all, he has no chance against Vitali. But if Haye fought like he did on Saturday against Wlad, then Wlad would destroy him inside 2.
Thanks for that honest opinion. It means a lot coming from a Brit too. I mean Haye does have speed, good power & plenty of aggression but I persoanlly see either Klitschko using that speed & aggression against him. Wlad would beat his face up from the outside & he'd probably KO Haye with that sneaky left hook off the jab. Haye's a warrior though, he'd beat the count & Wlad would put him to sleep with the right hand. Vitali is a very underated defensive counter puncher with 2 heavy hands & plenty of aggression & finishing ability of his own. Probably a KO by a barrage of punches from all different angles, another underated quality of Vitali.
Same amount of knockdowns but with less mess. :good Barrett fought very sloppy & Haye wasn't exactly a "well oiled machine" in there either. He got the job done though.
