Who hated each other the most? Aside from Ali and Frazier!

Calm down Sugar boy,that title goes to Hearns,all Leonard did after his fight with a 21 year old green Hearns was politic and look for people to get old,he didnt fight Pryor, and waited on Hagler and Hearns to age while he was sitting on the sidleine powdering his nose and making cameo appearances looking bad against Donnie LaLondes,he was great but somewhat of coward until he was in the ring,he was a great great fighter but he was a ****ing *****,which kind of makes him not as great as he should have been,not to mention he was ducking fights like crazy.

 

They are actually pretty friendly with each other now.

Answer to thread title - Morales & Barrera.

 

Didnt you see those vids of Morales/Barrera doing commentary in the studio on Deportes? They are pretty friendly and respectable of each other, understanding Espanol you cannot doubt that.

 

Time heals everything but not completely.... those 2 hated each other with a passion & that doesnt just go away, they dont see each other as rivals or a threat to each other anymore & thats why they are ok with each other now on talk shows etc. but when both were elite they had arguably the fiercest rivalry in boxing history & genuine dislike for each other.

You could point to guys like Basilio & say he will hate Robinson til his death but that was one sided... I still vote EM-MAB.

 

Vargas-ODLH dilike eachother to this day,although they only fought once.

Historically Barrera-Morales rivalry is much greater,but i dont think the hate is.

Harry Greb and Mickey Walker supposedly have had real life street fights,with Greb supposedly getting the best of that one.

Speaking of street fights i forgot about Berbick-Holmes.

 

Always thought that Mickey got the best of Harry in that fight after the bout they had in the ring.:huh
