Who is better equipped to be able to beat every middleweight in history head to head GGG or Canelo?

I don't think either is equipped to deal with Hagler nor Toney nor Monzón tbh.

Both GGG and Canelo have EQUAL chances, since both proved they are pretty much on the same level as each other in 24 rounds.

GGG also has never faced anybody as skilled as James Toney in his life, and probably NEVER will. Canelo has never been dominated by anyone also, UNTIL he met a true A star level boxer in Mayweather. There are levels to boxing and James Toney, much like Mayweather was compared to Canelo, is levels above Golovkin.

That's your opinion. Many saw Jacobs win. I do agree it was a very close fight, and despite scoring it for GGG the first time I can see a Jacobs win it too.

Canelo was a kid when he faced Mayweather so why are you using that as an example? Also Toney has never ever come across a GGG in his life, in terms closing the ring down there ain’t anybody better.

This right here. Not much more needs to be said. This says it all. GGG is CLEARLY past his best days and still arguably beat Canelo twice and looking back at how big he was in the first fight and the subsequent failed tests we know he was on PEDs. 30 year old GGG gives any Mw in history hell for every minute of the fight.

Vassily Jirov (a braver and less tentative version of Golovkin) > Golovkin. So no, Toney never faced a GGG in his life. Instead, he faced MUCH MUCH better and superior.

Golovkin literally fought like a tentative scared little boy against Canelo Alvarez, especially in the rematch, so much for his 'closing the ring down' ability. If Golovkin was so terrified and reluctant to take risks in throwing more punches against Canelo Alvarez, what do you think a superior James Toney would have done? How much more scared do you think Golovkin would have looked against TOney?

Mayweather was a 36 year old granddad when he faced Canelo. Canelo literally had 40 fights when he faced Mayweather. So don't give me this 'kid' excuse.

GGG > Jirov and Canelo wasn’t in his prime yet so yes he definitely wasn’t the version of Canelo I’m talking about in these fantasy match ups. Also I never said either fighter would win every single fight but more asking who’s chances were higher.

Nah, Jirov > GGG. GGG never has, and never could throw as many punches as Jirov did against James Toney against any top-tier opposition. Nor could he fight on the inside as relentlessly as Jirov did. There's nothing GGG can do, that's going to trouble Toney all that much.

Canelo is STILL the same fighter NOW, as he was when he faced Mayweather. Canelo would be dominated at any point in his career by a Mayweather at the top of his game.

The difference being that the fight is right there on youtube for anyone to watch and score, where as the Russian collusion has been exposed as a witch hunt used to distract the American public of the real sins of the dems and the leftists.

James Toney lost to Tiberi but got gifted a win. People looking at things with rose tinted glasses here.

Also we shouldn't use an old out of prime Golovkin as the standard. Golovkin at age 35-36 had visibly regressed in both skill and physicality compared to his earlier years.

    Prime GGG.

None of the atg fighters would dominate GGG, he will have smaller chances with some of the ATG, but will not be dominated by any of them. Prime GGG had everything to be competitive with them.

you have to pick the better guy, which is currently canelo, the proven elite.

but 3G is about to raise hmself above that level when he smashes canelo, that is my prediction. And when that happens you doubters and myself will pick 3G with justification.

Golovkin had Canelo looking like the scared little boy in the first fight as he ran around the ring trying to catch his breath. In the second fight Golovkin adjusted as needed, with 400 fights you learn when it's best to adjust. You don't fight every fight the same,at every moment the same.Golovkin fought him in the center of the ring and never had his back to the ropes.Toney was a great counter puncher, but a 160 lbs he was inconsistent and struggled with Reggie Joghnson and Tibieri, but looked great against Mccallum and Nunn.I think Golovkins jab, pressure, chin, conditioning ring smarts and heavy handed power would trouble trouble those guys.Golovkin isn't a Iran Barkley type of fighter.Great destroyers don't always destroy other elite fighters otherwise Trinidad would have destroyed Delahoya. It dont make them featherfisted like you like to say.
