No, he would not have kicked the crap out of Leonard, Duran, and Benitez.

And, no, he would not have beaten Thomas Hearns.

Lil Floyd would warm Duran's fat ass up at 135. If Lil Floyd was 5 "10 like Leonard and a natural WW, he gets the better of Hearns. He's a more complete fighter than Leornard. If he had Leornard's size, nothing would stop him from having more success against Hearns than Leonard did.

Floyd is not on Ray's level yet, and he might never be as a WW unless he starts fighting real top WW a win over cotto and williams and I think they are equals. Beacause Ray's win over Hagler was suspect Floyd does not need to do anything in the MW division to be considered an equal.

    You're a bit delusional Reg.

Floyd beats Duran at 135? Fat ass Duran? At 135 he was far from fat chief. He had one of the worst styles for a fighter of Floyd's mold to beat.

And no, Floyd absolutely doesn't beat Hearns, even if he was bigger. Hearns is still taller, with a better reach, and much better power.

You say that as if it's fact. People keep saying **** about how Floyd can't beat all these great WW's, but they forget to mention the size issue. Floyd was more skilled than, Leonard, Duran, Benetiz, and Hearns. Size would be the only reason any of them(besides Duran) would beat Lil Floyd.

You seen that fight man? Leonard was getting his head boxed off. His guts and ability to go for the KO when under the cosh and down on the score cards was what allowed him to win? I dont think Floyd could KO hearns.

Duran at 135:lol:. Or is this you being facetious as you like to be? Duran would rip up Floyd. If Castillo could nearly beat him then Duran would pummel him :good

You basically mean by more "complete" he is better defensivly? Leonard was better offensivly at 147 than Mayweather was at 130 :good. Mayweather only has defence on Leonard. Thats it

SRL...he was around at a time where there were several undeniably great fighters around his division...and he beat them all.

How could anybody with a straight face argue that Floyd has fought anyone even in the same league as Leonard. Floyd's a great fighter, but Leonard would be too much for him. Talking about 'if' Floyd was two inches taller and all that is ridiculous. He's who he is. That's the point of the post. And, yes, Tommy Hearns would incinerate Floyd. Just too damn big, strong, plus he was an excellent boxer. SRL only prevailed over Hearns because he hit hard as hell himself and could take a mother of a shot- and go 15 rounds to do it.

like the great spadafora. A win over him wouldve been akin to Leonard's win over Hearns.

Give me one good reason why Floyd couldn't beat Hearns if he had Leonard's size?

Because Hearns could outbox Floyd from the outside with his reach advantage and similar speed :good

Fraud has clearly ducked Winky, Cotto and Margarito. Arguably ducked KT and Casa. thats a pretty good duck list. The only one SRL arguably ducked was Pryor.

That's my point, Lil Floyd is a better boxer than Leonard. Hearns wouldn't be able to outbox him like that. In all honesty, Duran could definately take out Lil Floyd at 135, but it's not a certainty like people think.

To begin with, stop with the 'ifs'. If Floyd had Wlad's size he'd slaughter Hearns. The point of the post is to argue about what he'd do with what he has: 5'8".
