By the time Haye fighs Valuev, Ruiz and Chagaev (in that order) Vitali would be 40. Vitali will retire earlier, most likely next year. Vitali - Haye will likely never ever happen. True...but let's be clear about this. Vitali vs. Haye will never happen because Haye didn't want it to happen.
I dont think anyone out there can beat Vitali, but I'd love to see him destroy Valuev. Haye is the only HW athletic and fast enough to get to Vitali, but I dont know if he's tough enough and strong enough to really do it.
I think that after Johnson and Chambers a couple of oldtimers will get their shot: Tua (if he wins against Cameron), Toney (providing he beats a top rated opponent), Botha (who remains very popualar in Germany) and McCall might all get an opportunity next year.

There is truly no one out there that would stand a legit chance against Vitali Klitschko ... he's one of the smartest heavyweight boxer/punchers of this era ... and if he choose to can fight until his early 40's. I think that his stiffest challenge was Lennox ... other than that he really hasn't been pushed ... I really don't agree with his 2L's either ... he was up on the scorecards on both fights and was holding his own against the then undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He has the highest knockout ratio in HW history ... he wears opponents down with his boxing ability ... I think he has power but doesn't seem to have 1 punch power.
Let's not overrate Vitali. He is fighting in a very weak heavyweight division.Also, he was not better than out of shape and out of prime LL.
Haye and Toney are excellent fights for Vitali, even when he's 40, Vitali still beats them. I think he would punish Toney for all the slagging off that he has done. Haye won't take VK's punches, no chance.
David Haye was knocked down by Cliff Couser ko victim Monte Barrett.He cannot beat Vitali unless of course,it happens in 3 years or so.
Valuev, maybe a fight with Maskaev if he can get back to his pre-Peter fight. But the Kevin Johnson fight would be a good one though Vitali has no real threat in sight.
There's no doubt in my mind that Vitali can beat some of the greatest "prime" HW's ... in the history of boxing ... no one is physically built like this man and he handles his size and weight good ... most of the best HW's in history never weighed no more than 230lbs ... this guy comes in at a ripped 250+ ... and he has good leverage when he's fighting ... never gives up his heighth and moves like a guy who's a light heavyweight. I'm not overrating this guy ... there isn't too many fighters in history that has seen a fighter like Vitali ... I have no doubt that he would be great in any era. That goes for fighters like Tyson, Wladimir, Lennox, and Evander
