This is a very difficult fight to predict. I don't know how the weight will affect Cotto, but if I were Cotto, I'd look to box early using the jab, and make PAc come to me at the start of the fight. Later in the fight, I'd go after Pac. Easier said than done, but I'll give my decision as the fight gets closer. If it's a brawl, PAc wins, if it is an intelligent fight, Cotto wins-both may surprise. I'm leaning towards Pac by tko right now, but I won't give a definitive answer until this fight is close.
I've expressed my detailed evauluation regarding this bout on numerous occassions within the past weeks. The great illusions have been presented and now the participaints will be rewarded for playing their roles to perfection. I agree with those who state this is boxing and anything can happen though contrary to popular belief I'm pretty posistive cotto will win this intriguing match up. Being unconventional has always played a gratifying role in my life because to me its simple logic. Styles deterime fights, speed, talent, power are merely attributes utilized to aide your style and make it more effecient. I will bookmark this thread...I'm hoping this won't be the third fight I've picked incorrectly within the past 6yrs....none of us are perfect you know...lolol! And if your wondering which fights I I picked RJJ vs Glen Johnson and Cotto vs Margo. My biggest money maker was Vivian Harris vs Carlos Maussua (it made me more than Quintana vs Paul williams) please remember this is obviously fights that I decided to place bets on. Oh who can forget the +320 line on Mosley vs Margo...ignorance is ****ing bliss...I hate to say but the majority of boxing fans are bandwagoning ethnocentric drones. Peace and may the best warrior win. Cotto via TKO
One more here. Pac KO by 8th.........SPEED, ANGLE, UNDERATED POWER, WILL, HEART, POWER IN BOTH HANDS And more SPEED
I'm picking Pac by KO/TKO in the middle rounds because I see it as the only way Pac could win this fight. Even at 145, Cotto will be the bigger and stronger guy here and prolonged battles almost always favor the bigger and stronger fighter.
making a thread just for the purpose of laughing at the loss(IF) is quite childish. i will predict a pac by K.O. because thats what i feel and not because of your childish acts.
I can't make a final decision yet. There are a lot of variables to weigh for this fight. I've went with Pacquiao to win his last two fights. Hatton didn't take me much time to decide on, Oscar a little longer, but this is the more difficult one. I know where Pacquiao is at right now, but I have lurking uncertainties about Miguel post Margo-Cheato.
If Cotto can nullify Pacquiao's speed with the jab, mixed with some nice straight right hands, I see bad things for PacMan. All Pacquiao needs to do is be himself and he'll get the UD.... My decision - Cotto (not sure via TKO or UD/SD though )
