HOW is Hopkins above Calzaghe on this list too?!? Calzaghe just beat Hopkins who is Hopkins is 3-3 in his last six, including a loss to Calzaghe, and Calzaghe is 6-0!!!

This girl is a good poster on other subjects, but can not possibly retain any objectivity when it comes to Calzaghe.

I noticed it since day one and its becoming more and more obvious to others at last. :yep

Why not? His last fight was more impressive than Joe's and he lost a controversial decision to Joe before that.

Well we all agree Calzaghe is the number 1, but isn't Hopkins meant to be old and washed up? or was that just for the Calzaghe fight? I'm confused at seeing Hopkins ear makred for being the 3rd best fighter on the planet when he's shot...

It's quite simple really, two reasons.

    1 - I scored the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight to Hopkins by a point.

2 - Outwith that fight, Hopkins's last 3 wins are Tarver, Wright and Pavlik. Calzaghe's are Jones Jr, Kessler and Manfredo.

Personally therefore, I can't have Calzaghe above Hopkins.

That's the crazy thing about Hopkins. He is washed up and still in the top 10. In his prime he was even better.

Piffle, Hopkins is better than ever, without his ring experience, he couldn't pull off these masterful displays, which is why he is finally being recognised as a top boxer, unfortunately for him, it went a bit pear shaped, when he a SMW stepped into his own back yard and gave him a thrashing of a lifetime, so much so he resorted to cheating and running cap in hand to ole Cortez, but it was still his best ring performance against an invincible fighter.

Are you serious mate? I read in another post you saying the Roy Joens who fought Calzaghe was as good as ever!

then you would understand my reasoning, had it not been calzaghe, but a lesser fighter, I think everyone would be saying the same right now.
