In a fight news interview Sam says he has a fight in the US later this year and that he'll be available for Golovkin in March/April?!

Is it Lemieux? Or is Haymon trying to tie up the title and to block out Golovkin from dominating the MW market? I could see Sam losing a decision to Jacobs or even a Charlo or Lara.

HBO's going to have to put up the money, and keep in mind Cotto just announced his next fight will be on regular HBO, so he'll be tapping into their budget which could impact a big name opponent like Kessler for Golovkin.

Soliman has a fight signed for September 25th in New York. He is reputedly getting more for that fight than a GGG fight would have provided him with and obviously involves less risk. If Soliman retains his title I think you will see him pursuing GGG next year.

Jermain Taylor on a Thursday night? Where's the money for that fight? Golovkin would've paid between 500k-700k. If Sam fights a Haymon fighter he won't be getting a decision in his favor. He be better off fighting Murray in Monte Carlo.

He has a belt so he's semi important. Whether you like it or not.

He'll probably get the fight with GGG he's been calling for since neither Cotto or Quillin is interested in fighting him or Golovkin.

Golovkin has been in talks with Soliman since before the Geale fight. Golovkin wants Cotto next, HBO would like that fight also.......................

Cotto - Golovkin ain't gonna happen.

Cotto has nothing to gain beating Golovkin and doesn't want to waste time when he could do better fighting Canelo
