let's say I take the Hatton from the Kostya Tszyu fight, and compare him to Floyd from the Gatti fight, who is the better fighter?

Floyd is obviously the better fighter H2H, but Hatton's the one who will be seen as a greater JrWW of the two. Floyd's pit stop there was weak.

A Q for the PBF'ers how many fights did Floyd have @ 140lbs?
it don't add up to Hatton anyway you try & twist it.

IMO, Hatton beats all fighter's Mayweather beat @ 140lbs. (H2H)

    only 3

against Gatti, Bruseles and Chop Chop

Hatton is 44-0 at 140 and beat Kostya Tszyu when he was the real champ.

    Mayweather.

Hatton's work at 140 is obviously more impressive than Mayweather's wins during his coffee stop at 140, but we're talking about "better".

    140, 147, p4p, whatever....Mayweather kicks Hatton's ass. He's just a class above Ricky.

Floyd hasn't fought at 140 long enough to be measured but Id say he's better.. Just because.

its funny how people can make the difference between better and more accomplished when it comes to PBF, but when it comes to Pacquiao they go into hater-mode.

PBF and Hatton knows it, he and Warren avoided Floyd at 140 for obvious reasons.

Hatton had already ditched Warren by the time a fight could have been made.

At the time, Ricky would have had to take the fight for next to no money..... which makes very little sense when he was in for a beating.

If you are comparing the two.... Floyd is obviously better. But you cannot compare the Hatton that faced Tszyu to the Floyd that faced Gatti.

Ricky was in with a quality, champion opponent, albeit one past his best. Floyd was in with a shot, blown up 130lb clubfighter with balls.
