By a ,long way, Canelo sets good traps but he`s not a pure boxer, he can be out-boxed, he simply stalks a fighter and makes them make mistakes, Usyk creates angles to land far more shots.
This is a huge point, and 100% true/amazing. *edit* BTW Hello my brother! I hope you & your family are doing fantastic!
Canelo is very, very good at a certain narrow range of skills but lacks the all-roundedness of Usyk. Usyk’s good to great in almost all categories you care to name. Put them in against a range of opponents and Usyk’s going to find a way to win in all of them, while Canelo will dominate some and look clueless in others.
Usyk for sure. I don't think there is a style that would give Usyk fits. Fury is probably the only one to beat him but that is still a competitive fight (and Usyk is definitely at a size disadvantage, a bigger one than Canelo has faced; get back to me when Canelo faces someone who has 30-40 pounds on him). For Canelo, you saw him get outboxed by GGG in the first fight, schooled by Mayweather, arguably lost to Lara, struggled with both Trout and Jacobs. I'm not poo-pooing Canelo because he is still very good and a HOFer but he is definitely more limited than Usyk. Really Canelo's bread and butter is counter-punching while Usyk can do that too but is also comfortable enough to take the lead as well. Usyk also has much better footwork. It reminds me of the Fox and the Hedgehog quote, "the fox knows many things, the hedgehog knows one big thing". Usyk = Fox, Canelo = Hedgehog.
Ward > all and beats them all except Usyk, probably. Sorry ur still angry about The Krusher getting crushed.
