    The least ? You mean the least hyped World Champion ? I'm going to say Spain's Perico Fernandez. I don't Boxrec when I'm on this site but all can tell you is that the EBU matched him with Barry McGuigan for the European Title and that he'd been a World Champion . Featherweight I think.

    Names like that should remind that because the sport is truly global, there are likely untold, legit fighters and champs, from parts of the world where you still aren't likely to see a road sign in a language even resembling English within a 100 miles, and it makes it such that there have to be champs who even hardcore boxing nerds conversing in the "western world" might never come across.

    Peter Maher was a champion after Corbett's first retirement. Jim's comeback fight against Fitz made this fact forgotten.
