Is there anybody out there who could come in and just annihilate somebody like Ward or GGG or Kovalev?

We thought it would be Canelo. I remember the hype when he was supposed to destroy Floyd. Didn't even come close to happening.

Somebody needs to do something. It's been a Long time since somebody shook up the boxing world.

There are prospects around, but nobody is just going to come out of nowhere and annihilate Ward, GGG or Kovalev.

Beterbiev would be my bet for the next potential megastar. If he could somehow fight Ward and Kovalev and put a beatdown on them.

But I doubt he'll ever fight either them. And if he does he probably doesn't destroy them either.

So if a non-English speaking Russian, who is an ethnic Chechen and has the look and fun-loving demeanor of a man who has just carved the body he has been hiding in his attic into 100 pieces with a saw and then devoured them, defeats non-stars Kovalev and Ward he will become a star. But he probably won't end up fighting them and if he does fight them he may well not defeat them so it doesn't really matter anyway. Hold on, I think you're onto something here. :think

Insert joke about unfortunate absence of any personality whatsoever.

Whoever beats Wlad is a superstar. Wilder and Joshua has the best chances. But neither of them has interesting personalities so you can only go so far with success in the ring.
