It annoys me when people call AJ fake. He did some bad things when he was younger and now he has turned himself around and become the top heavyweight in the world. People need to give him the benefit of the doubt and I applaud him for walking away from the bad things in life. As far as the press conference goes I think he coped with it quite well considering he was getting verbally abused. If he started shouting his mouth off and getting physical back then everyone would just say it was staged and it was done to sell tickets. People need to stop hating AJ and start giving this guy a break. He is our world champion and we should be supporting him rather than always trying to find the negatives about him.
Lol Dillian ain't no angel , but he ain't a bully or a thug either. Plus he doesn't pretend to be anyone in the public eye, he is what you get. AJ is a bully, he is a thug, and he hides it well but it seeps through a lot. I know bullies like him.

I grew up in London and I AJ ain't all that different from the guys ive seen and dealt with on road. Same demanour, body language, tone of voice, quips, laugh, language i know his type through and through. amd actions at the presser confirmed it for me and even in other pressers. i know what these guys are like.
Everything he has shared with us in pressers and head to heads, language, demeanour... text messages to other fighters revealed... actions behaviour. I know people like him and I know what they're like. Plus all the stories about big femi and his earlier years... done for drugs running eith gangs... It all clicks for me. In my opinion and my experience.
Selling a couple bags of weed on a pushy doesn't mean you are a thug. I have sold more than that, wouldn't necessarily consider myself a thug. As for a bully, pretty sure that requires some evidence..
Its like Andy Murray, the public perception of him is he is boring but ask any other sportsman or celeb that knows him and they all say he is a laugh and great guy. After he made the anyone but England comment and got slaughtered for it he just toe'd the corporate sponsor line. It was funny when he stuck his mate in it during a competition.... saying his fellow tennis colleague had found a wee scottish bird last night, to which the other guy had to step in and say I dont think my girlfriend back home would appreciate that much. Andy spent the next 2 mins not able to face the camera pissing himself laughing at putting him right in it !!
Dillian Whyte is far more of a thug that AJ ever was or will be Guys been kidnapped for gods sake Look at his entourage They are all road men Not knocking him but to say Joshua was worse before boxing is a bit daft
its all a bit hypocritical mate if you have an avatar of Whyte like I said. Whyte has threatened to kill folk, sort them out away from the ring etc... I dont mind it cos I aint a snowflake but it seems strange to dislike someone like AJ for those reasons when Whyte has confirmed he hasnt had the best past and ran in the same circles as AJ. Not many nice, and gentle folk make in boxing hence why it is rare and when you get a genuine nice fella in boxing, then their promoter, trainer and colleagues are not slow in making us know.
