Shut the **** up Elvis.................find yourself a thr4ead about fighters you like rather than fighters you don't. This way you may actually have to post something with substance rather than pure hate you bigoted ******.
Vitali lost to Byrd because of an injury which was later revealed to be a torn rotator cuff. Vitali was well ahead on the cards at the time of the stoppage. Vitali lost to Lewis on cuts caused by punches while ahead on the scorecards. Solis showed no signs of a knee, leg, temple, etc. injury leading up to his fight against VK. In fact he looked pretty good until the KO. He threw caution to the wind, came in swinging & got caught with a temple shot. His leg was injured on his way to the canvas. That's a KO, the above fights are TKOs. I do see the similarity but Solis wasn't up 2-4 rounds before the stoppage.
Lol. :rofl:rofl:rofl Aaaw did you get a bit upset because I said something bad about Vitali? I expect you'll follow your own advice and never comment negatively on the subject of David Haye? Lol. No, I thought not.
Still, the point is, Solis was arguably winning the round (the fight) until the stoppage. That counts as win in a lot of Klitschko supporters books. Don't deny it!
I'd even throw Briggs in there as a former WBO champ, and Orlin Norris as crusier champ who beat some good heavies. Kirk Johnson was a legitimate #1 contender, and Danny Willaims was coming off the Tyson win. Vitaly has a good record, but I hope after Adamek he at least sticks around to fight SNV and what is left of Haye.
I have great respect for anyone who fights for a living. That includes David Haye, even if he did ***** out of a fight because he wasn't going to get paid because the deal he brokered himself, fell though. Haye's a good boxer, has good speed & power but his self promotion is beyond ridiculous. It sells tickets to Brits though so he must be doing something right I guess. He's going to get a rude awakening soon though, or should I say a rude nap time? Wladimir is going to knock him out for the count. Bank on it :good
The "Won the Event" **** is getting beyond stale. Barely winning 2 minutes of a 3 minute round in a fight you get knocked out in isn't much to hang your hat on. It's the same as Vitali's fights against Lewis & Byrd in some ways but differs in other, more relative ways in my opinion. Vitali was beating Byrd easily & he was up 4 rounds to 2 against the ATG Lewis. That says a lot about his ability. Lewis cut him with a glancing blow & made the cut worse with some serious power punches that would've KO'd almost any fighter. Vitali took those punches & kept throwing back and hurting Lewis. You can't deny that with a serious, sober face.
I would love to see Vitali vs. Valuev, Giant against Giant. That would be the first time Vitali was the smaller man in a boxing match no?
i dont know about his greatest victory but Sanders hit him the hardestand lewis them most visible damage. Sanders and lewis were stablemates. sanders took out levi billups in like 1 0r 2 rounds while lewis and others went the distance with him Sanders is better then Peter and arreola.
The point is this, you can rationalize just about anything depending on who your biases favor. Vitali lost to Lewis in a fight he could have won but, didn't...Lewis should have given him a rematch, but didn't... Lewis should have rematched Mercer too, but, didn't...Mercer actually beat Lewis on many score cards but, not 2 of the 3 that count, and the history books will always show that Lewis won because he did based on the scoreboard... If you saw the McCall rematch you would know McCall should have never been alllowed to step into the ring that night, it wasn't the same McCall that KO'd Lewis...But, the history books will always say he beat every man put in front of him...Foreman could argue the advantages fate had given Ali but, we know what the history books say. Scoreboard will always rule the day... It doesn't take away the fact, Vitali had Lewis wobbling all over the ring for most of the fight, that he more than belonged in the ring with an ATG champ...Pretty certain Vitali will be considered an ATG too, if nothing else, the scoreboard says he is...
