If anyone has any info who he is looking to fight next that would be awesome. Anyone?

The 3 fighters I would want to see him pitted against would be either M'baye, Kotelnik or olusugen as I feel those fights would give us an indication as to how good he really is.

Anyone else fancy calling his next fight?

Hopefully he can get another decent defence in or fight a rated opponent. I think he is ready to move into the world title scene now.

  3. I'd like Kotelnik, good shout. The lads a smashing prospect but is 30 now isn't he?

I'd like to see him thrown straight in the World Title mix.

Yep, Kotelnik is a great choice.

Very impressed by McCloskey and his confidence/performances seem to be improving with every fight. He needs to be kept busy, Kotelnik would be a great match up for him and hopefully not a step too far. If he wins... Khan??

Good chance it'll be Giuseppe Lauri, he may even be the next mandatory if M'Baye/Kotelnik don't want it or aren't ready in time.

Paul is my favorite current Irish fighter and he has the talent to win a world title. Lauri or Kotelnik would be fine opponents.

He needs to be fast tracked at his age. I think a Khan fight would suit him so well and make for a great fight. McCloskey punches from everywhere and Khan would fight all guns blazing or try his mad defensive style again.

yeah he is a young 30 but , not a lot of milage on the clock

i think khans spped would be too much for him , give me alexander or bradley any day of the week for pauls style

although paul would only have to catch khan with one flush right hand and he would be on ***** street

I would have said the opposite... with McCloskey's KO potential and the speed to match Khan, I think he'd be someone Warren would want to avoid

Kotelnik would be a very good fight for him style wise.

  14. I think he should try to pick up a World strap before facing Khan, so that if his speed was indeed to much for Paul, he'd always have a World Title to look back on.

At 30, no point shooting your bolt by going straight for Khan.

I think in a year or two's time it could be a unification bout.
