yeah its like a viral campaign, 1 person is going to tell all their friends that "I AM PICKING mayweather" and etc etc and it will generate a lot of attention if they promote it correctly. most people are not viewing it that way.
Sounds like they are trying to stylize the name like a text message or something. The name is lame as hell and I could really care less what it's called for the promotion. The general interest and anticipation for this is gonna be huge though, I can feel it. Can't wait.
well you already heard they are going to have a text campaign. guarantee you that each text will be 1 dollar per text. money money money.
Floyd:smoke Floyd will fight a very structured fight...staying on the outside...using the jab, using the lead rights and utilizing his foot speed to keep off the ropes and in the center of the ring. Floyd will win by controlling distance and range.....Shane will probably control the pace...get in a few decent shots that Floyd is able to roll with and take some of the steam off of the mosley shots. I think well see Shane try to get to the body A LOT but in his efforts eats some clean counters from Floyd. I see Shane winning 4 rounds. Floyd UD
How I see it as well. What do you think Shanes strategy will be? Do you think he'll try and hold Floyd alot?
The hype would be huge regardless of the name. ODLH-Mayweather did over 2mil ppvs without a **** name attached to the event. Would that have done more with 'who are you picking' under the circumstances you described? I think not. The hype is the two guys that are fighting. It's a terrible name, end of.
I bet Floyd gets suprised early, taken off his game by Shane's quickness and agressiveness. Shane is just as fast as Floyd and I think Mayweather could be stopped in this fight.
They were going to call this bout "The Fight". I am glad that they didn't, as that was the name for Ali-Frazier. As far as the name "Who R U Picking?", well it probably isn't the worst name of all time, but far from the best. It could have been worse, they could've called it "Sugar Money".
Yo....Shane definitely has a shot bro. That speed and power is still vicious....but his shot has to come early...or at least get Floyd's respect within the first half of the fight. Strategy will be a good one from Naz. He'll get Shane to use lateral movement and multiple jabs to close distance, bang Floyds body with an occasional hook upstairs to keep Floyd on his "P's & Q's". I think Naz will have Floyd ROUGH Floyd up as much as possible b/c Shane is much stronger. And he will be hold Floyd alot on the inside, tie him up and get in some shots. I just think as the fight progresses Shane will loose that window of opportunity that was wide open earlier in the fight. Floyd take control in the later rounds and wins a clear victory.
