Was a draw, i thought. The 118-110 card was silly, but a draw is fair.

Canelo won the first and last three. If GGG had started earlier he would have won.

Nobody got robbed. Was a good fight.

People on here crying about the result aren't boxing fans - they're drama fans.

If you didn't like this fight - go and watch the Kardashians or something...

I thought GGG won and deserved it close. The 10-2 was heinous of course. The sad part is it's given everyone ammo to say the fight was rigged for Canelo. I mean, a draw is a fair enough result and didn't need to be rigged, but the score makes it look like GGG couldn't win. But it ends up being a good thing! If Canelo got what was considered a robbery decision we might not get a rematch, but because it was a draw we likely are. And whatever the official cards this fight NEEDS a rematch. Even if GGG got a 7-5 decision it needed a rematch. Not just because it didn't have a clear winner, but because it was a great fight.

    My card:

    1-GGG
    2-Canelo
    3-Canelo
    4-GGG
    5-GGG
    6-Canelo
    7-Canelo
    8-GGG
    9-GGG
    10-GGG
    11-GGG
    12-Canelo

    115-113 GGG

GGG won the first round with his jab. Canelo did win 2 & 3 though. But no way he won the last 3 rounds, other than 12.

I scored it 7-5 for Golovkin which I was surprised by since it felt like Golovkin won a bit more clearly than that.

I guess you could find 6 rounds to give to Alvarez so a draw isn't a horrible decision, just one I'd disagree with.

I think the insane card turned in by Byrd is making the decision look worse than what it was.

I'd like to see a rematch and would prefer that to either one of them against Cotto.

The biggest fights are about more than scorecards. That a fight that you might have thought GGG won 7-5 or even 8-4 was called a draw doesn't change that it was a great, close fight, and if you didn't like it you aren't a boxing fan and we don't need you.

Even the crowd booed Canelo, they know this is a travesty decision.
    GGG won clearly 8-4 rounds.
Draw was a disgrace score and i don`t even want to comment the first judge scorecard - disgrace !!!

Golovkin was tentative and nervous the first three rounds, I think that's a shame, he could have won one of those otherwise I feel... As soon as he loosened up he dominated, and continued to dominate hard until the final 3 rounds.

I think Golovkin won by a round or two.

I know why some people see Canelo as winning though. If you want him to win bad enough and only focus on his moments of success, it's easy to miss the punches coming back at him. He landed some heavy leather a few times. Shockingly ineffective despite how hard they were, wtf - but obviously they leave a big impression... There's obviously something seriously abnormal about GGG's skull because even when he takes multiple heavy shots in a row he's fine. I think he was stunned once ever for like a brief second. It's very abnormal, but, helpful.

We know who would be KO'd first if they had to keep fighting until someone got put down... Maybe a Canelo body shot could've done the trick, but targeting GGG's head seems to be a big mistake because he eats everything.

As i say, if GGG had been faster out of the tracks he would have won.

There's an argument for either fighter so a draw is a decent call.

    Good fight.

yeah i agree not a robbery i scored it 117-111 to saul Alvarez i loved his movement and pot shots especially early rounds but its what you like if you like GGGs high pressure (in my opinion ineffective due to missing alot of shots) and saul Alvarezs pot shot counters with combos to go with it but its ultimately what you like

It was a good fight. But the 118-110 scorecard was a travesty. Proves everything everyone's been saying.
