Send Taylor back to MW, knock off the #2 in Bute to separate himself even more clearly from the rest of the pack, then maybe go belt hunting and possibly gunning for Dawson in 2010 after 168 is unified and has nothing left to offer.

He already kicked Andrade's ass for 12 rounds and I have no interest in seeing that again.

Had he gone through with that fight, he's probably HBO's top foreign fighter. They would've turned him into a superstar.

Kessler should stick to the plan and claim the SM belts in is weight class.
Froch or Pascal is forced to fight Taylor (ref: WBC statement) to retian the belt so from a logical point of view he should focus on the IBF belt first - Brute

True, but I also think HBO should be smart here. They know Palle is difficult to deal with but Kessler is a prime product that could make boxing popular around the world. He could be a major export for HBO and their programs on Chinese, Australian etc TV. However, HBO (Showtime?) has to act and accept that Palle is getting somewhat senile. Be reasonable and make some top fights with Kessler at 168 and soon Kessler will be one of HBOs most sought after products. Kessler is not getting any younger so it really needs to happen now.

Exactly, he is in his peak right now. Considering the amount of pain that he clearly going though preparing for recent fights they should line up a more consistent fight schedule and let him take proper rest when needed. I rather see him going straight in for another fight now that rebuilding in 3-4 months time. I have watched him prepare on two occasions and he certainly put in his share of extremely hard sparring rounds. I doubt he can keep doing this type of preparation for his fights.
