I think Ring still ranks Peter at #2; and by their criteria, Wlad would have to beat him again for Ring to recognise him as the champ. Picking up the WBC trinket would hurt either.

BTW-If Peter does beat Vitali (4 years is a lot of ring rust), Wlad will fight him for sure (based on the K Bros history of avenging each other's loses)

    1. Povetkin

    2. Valuev vs. Ruiz Winner (WBA Belt)

    3. V.Klitschko vs. Peter Winner (WBC Belt)

    4. Haye (If he hasn't been KO'd yet)

    5. Arreola

    6. Solis

    In that order.

    You mean Wlad .... ?

If Sykes doesn't beat Povetkin then I think Wlad has no option but Povetkin as he is his next mandatory. After that your question may be better motivated. And the first answer for Wald is to unify one of the other belts whoever will have it.

If that will not be possible then having your list he should fight someone old for a change like Tua, Golota or Toney.

Haye must wait because his **** talking must be punished by putting him in line as other prospects do.

Povetkin he has earned the right to challenge Klitschko.

I would love to see Wlad fight Haye just to shut his mouth.

Almost agree with this list but put valuev 3rd and Haye 5th. Haye needs to have a few fights at heavyweight before fighting Wlad IMO. If he wins impressively it sets the stage for a massive Heavyweight clash where as now he is an unknown quantity at Heavy and it is not as interesting as Wlad v Peter or Wlad v Valuev or Wlad v Chagaev IMO. Of course he has to fight Povetkin to keep IBF belt, so may as well make it next. Peter of course would probably be taken out of the equation if he loses to Vitali as Wlad has already beaten him and he would have no belt.

After he fights povetkin he should fight haye while there is high expectation. Be a big money fight and everyones interest. Feb or march would be perfect

    1. Povetkin (IBF mandatory)

    2. winner of Valuev vs Ruiz

    3. Chagaev (WBA Champ in recess, most likely necessary for RING belt)

The last match of 09 is too far away to make a prediction who's world class by then
