I would like to see the barker fight.

I think Macklin would like to fight Lee or Duddy. Both would lose to macklin I reckon. If Lee can't beat Brian Vera, how is he going to deal with the tipperary tornado. duddy is not skilled enough either.

The barker fight has some needle in it.

Lets hope it's not another latvian.

Barker, if not him then at least a respectable proven legit European level fighter I could tolerate some one like Gennady Martirosyan, Gregorz Proska, Maksym Bursak, Domenico Spada.

But please nobody with a padded record (Belge, Jomardashvilli etc.) or someone with loads of clear bad losses when they have stepped up to domestic level type fighters (Dzuhman, Messi, Branco, Brancallion etc.).

At Frank Warren's press conference it sounded like he was claiming Barker is not actually injured. It seems Hennesy does not want Barker to fight on Warren's cards.

Barkers out for a while by sounds...but no one knows because there's been no real statement on it.

Tbh it has to be a fight that has some meaning, it can't be some pointless bout that doesn't take him any closer to a world title shot. I'm intrigued to see who it is..got a feeling we may be underwhelmed..hope i'm wrong.

Barker will get destroyed, padded record and just look at his last performance against an average euro fighter, he looked terrible.

I personally think Macklin is now the best fighter and the names on his record also prove that imo...;)

I agree Macklin should be ranked ahead of Barker but do wins of past there best Asikainen and Elcock make him that much better than Elcock.

For me the only fighters that are undisputedly the best in Britain at there weight:

    David Haye
    Nathan Cleverly
    Carl Froch
    Ryan Rhodes
    Amir Khan
    Ricky Burns
    Rendall Munroe
    Lee Haskins
    Shinny Bayaar

    in the other divisions the winner of these fights will be undisputed number 1 in the country;

    Macklin vs Barker
    Brook vs Hatton
    Alafoabi vs Hide/Nortan
    Murray vs Mitchell
    Lindsay vs Smith
    McDonnell vs Hall

Well, Barker seems to be out injured, and Lee/Duddy seem to be circling each other.

Somebody ranked anyway, Sturm or Sylvester would be good fights. Pirog would be good, but I think a definitely loss. Zbik would be good but probably wont take it either.

Probably wont be any of those, Spada maybe?
