The suck thing is that I actually like Tank's fighting style and have thus far rooted for him in all of his fights. Why can't he just fight one of the other young phenoms around his weight? Why does it have to be rocket ****ing science?

Assuming he ducks the top guys, I wouldn't mind seeing him against James Tennyson. That would be a war.

Honestly, I'd like to see him vs. Richard Commey. That will tell very quickly what his ceiling at LW is. Commey is a gunslinger, you're gonna get him or he's gonna get you.

Not a bad fight. Better than anyone he will probably actually fight. Commey has some holes in his game but he can bang. Tank better tighten up his defense because Commey ain’t a blown up 126 pounder or faded midget.

It is astonishing that he can duck other fighters as well as he does with a neck that looks like that...

Yes, a Commey fight is winnable because of his deficiencies. But it's a lot of danger as well. That's why I say it'll show where he belongs in the division. Commey is a legit top 10 guy.

Well, hold on there, partner! He's only had checks notes 24 fights with a win over Pedraza. Why are you rushing him like that?

Because most of the fighters in this era are afraid to take their first loss. They were teens during the time Floyd was boasting about being undefeated and doing everything in his power to keep it that way. So even fans latched on to the idea that being undefeated makes you automatically great. Nobody ever cared that Chavez was 80 wins in with no losses. Nobody cared that Ottke had a perfect record or if Edwin Valero was 27-0 with 27 kos. Floyd made a huge deal about and an entire generation latched onto it. There was a point a few years ago where at least 6 of the top 10 pfp fighters were all undefeated. I can’t ever remember a time seeing that before. It actually looked ridiculous. Just my theory anyways.

Pretty much sums it up, if you ask me.
