But he's a interesting question... Who's the true winner tonight: Carlos Quintana or Miguel Cotto? Cotto's domination over Quintana is going to be held in a completely different light now.
You are 100% correct. Let's see what Leonard Ellerbe says to discredit Cotto now so Floyd doesnt fight him.
i dont know, i think that the question from this thread should be asked to a fella called Greg Leonard, as much as i respect him, i couldnt belive he was serious, but its not like we've never been absolutley wrong about something.
Mayweather, Cotto and possibly Mosley are a class above the rest. Cintron, Margarito, Williams, Quintana, Berto, Clottey and Judah is 2nd tier.
Even though Quintana just won the belt I don't think a rematch is in order. The first fight wasn't really competitive and I don't see a rematch going any different. I really don't know what margo has done to deserve another shot at Cotto and if he beats Cintron it wont be such a big deal because he has already done it. Cintron will be interesting because he has 1 punch KO power. But if Cotto can unify in one shot instead of two that would be better.
If Floyd decides to try to let Cotto unify, he would be risking a potential huge payday if cotto were to lose b/c the general non-boxing fan public will not care about floyd fighting a fighter with a loss. but if he fights cotto right now while he is undefeated, this fight makes the fans happy and his pockets happy. the time is now, at the end of the year.
