    mayorga went 12 rounds without landing a significant punch & at times was made to look lke an amateur not a reigning,defending unified champion.

    agreed its not up there with calzaghe-lacy or hopkins-pavlik,but it was still one sided

    good analysis:good it was a brutally tough fight to score but mayorga really looked worse than he was, thanks to spinks defense. it was the unfortunate end to his run as a top level fighter

    but do you think he gets it for that one win? usually fighter of the year requires a fuller resume for the 12 months
