Please , Wlad wasn't the slightest bit competitive against Povetkin , at wrestling yes , but not in a boxing match.
What do you think would happen if he had to play by the rules and wasn't allowed jump down on Povetkins back every 10 seconds?
I don't think he'd last past the 6th round tbh. Wlad knew this himself , thats why he trained for a grappling contest. He knew his limited skill-set wouldn't be good enough.
At actual boxing Marco Huck did better against Povetkin that Wlad. Go watch 200 pound Huck trade blows and stand his ground.. Then go watch the 12th round and see Wlad miss a thrown clinch , then turn his back and run away he was so scared Pov might have clipped him.
Did you enjoy watching that? One of the biggest injustices in the history of the sport was awarding Wlad the win for that fight .
In reality he should have been DQ'd 50 times over. Thats not an exaggeration either . The fight had every right to be ended after the 3rd round.

Yeah because Huck fought such a clean and brilliant tactical fight against Povetkin. Let's forget about all of those rabbit punches to make it fit our agenda.

At least he fought. And his body was half the size of Wlads.. Wlad may as well have dropped his trunks and shat all over the HW championship that night. He's a joke. A bigger joke than Wilder. Wilder can at least win fights clean and fairly.. Do a clinch count against him and Stiverne.. I'll save you the hassle - ZERO.
Do a clinch count when Wlad won his title against a shot Chris Byrd who could barely move around anymore? Loads.. More than Wilders entire title run put together.

He didn't stink up the joint vs Vitali. He tried hard, and caught Vit with some good shots, but his limitations and age showed.

Povetkin is the CLEAR 3rd best heavyweight of this era, goes without saying

Haye is the clear 4th best

A more interesting question would be who is the 5th..

God, what is with these Hayetards. His fan base is beyond training with. Povetkin has an argument for best non K. So do Peter and Sanders. Hayes resume and performance against a K isn't remotely in the league of the other three.

yeah I heard the Russians had ordered Wlad not to KO Povetkin which suddenly made sense to me as Wlad looked so p***** off throwing Povetkin round like a rag doll and still knocking him down with every shot he landed almost, very odd?

Don't be silly.. They paid Wlad 25 million to come to Russia.

You think they paid him that money to come to Russia to beat Povetkin on points ? :risas3::risas3:

Its not the first time Wlad fought like that.. He tried to fight the same fight against Brewster , only was refused and getting knocked out was the result.
Wlad just sucks.. He had no other method of dealing with Povektin.

Yeah I'm sure you're right lol,you know the type of stories you hear on news 24
I just get outraged every time I see that fight,we all know Wlad had a very suspect chin and used his height and reach and holding to protect his mandible

Imagine what hall of fame ref Mils Lane would have done if he was in charge of the action.. There's no way he would have let it go on past the 3rd round.
Pabon was clearly bought and paid for..

No, but you clearly are. I acknowledged Povetkin has a good argument, though no better than Sanders and Peter. However, I pointed out that Hayetards like you are beyond reasoning with. There's no rational argument that Haye is anything other than a distant 4th best non K, 5th if you count Byrd.

How is that possible when Lewis was still the Champion in 2003?

The Klitschko era didn't start until 2006.

The Klitschko era started 1999? The year Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield to become Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion.
