who was the physically strongest middleweight?

    In the esteemed opinion of this forum...who would you say was the physically strongest middleweight champion?

    I would go with Tiger or Hagler...

    Tiger gets it for me Vic...if you didn't box him you'd lose. He was too much even for Fullmer.

    Monzon had bull like strength, there's plenty of choices in a division like 160, but his strength was something else.

    Tiger is generally regarded as the strongest ... watch how easily he bulls around Fullmer, a near monster in his own right ... LaMotta was close as well ...

    Monzon was a very strong middle...I think he had the edge over nearly all his opponents....and you wouldn't think so because of him being so long and lean...I guess that's that "functional strength"..

    I think LaMotta is on Fullmer's level...Tiger's at the top IMO
