Who will be doing the Top Rank PPV broadcast?

    that actually factors into whether or not I'll buy the PPV.

    it's a boring generic bob papa/steve farhood type commentary - no thanks.

    but if Lampley, Kellerman, Lewis and the like handle it w/ class and professionalism/style - I'll gladly pitch in.

    anyone know?

    its not an HBO broadcast so you're way off base here. Top Rank PPV commentator expect Mario Lopez in there.

    I think though I read somewhere that the Y-Town part will have Farhood and Boom Boom Mancini...sorry to say I can't remember who will do the section from New York.

    There'll be two commentary teams won't there? One at MSG and one in Youngstown.

    who are the 'top rank broadcasters'?

    they have their own broadcast team?

    Al Bernstein and Charlie Steiner will call the action in NYC and Nick Charles and Ray Mancini will call the action in Youngstown.

    Usually they have Genaro Hernandez(he is sick),Doug Fisher and Rich Moratta or Al Bernstein or Nich Charles etc.

    I heard Steve Farhood and Al Bernstein in the New York portion. Charlie Stiener would be better, but honestly, I can't even remember the last time he called a fight. As mentioned, Nick Charles and Boom Boom Mancini in Youngstown.

    can someone tell me why ****ing slater from save by the bell is a boxing commentator now..honestly when i saw him interview vic i thought i was dreaming..it was about 4 am so it was plausable
