Mayweather will probably be the aggressor and this is one big reason why I think JMM will win or at least make PBF look bad.

PBF is coming in as supposedly P4P best and the burden of looking good is at his shoulders. He will try to press the action against JMM. This will play into JMM's counter puncher style.

I can foresee crowd booing these 2 fighters around the 7th round with neither fighter really throwing a lot. The PBF will decide to slightly take the risk of initiating the action and get counterpunched by JMM.

You could be right. Be that as it may, JMM will find it a lot easier to touch PBF if Mayweather is right in front of him than he would if he has to chase the faster, more elusive and bigger punching fighter around the ring.

JMM can't win the fight if he can't put his gloves on his chin. Best way to get that done is if PBF makes himself available by coming after him.

Mayweather should let Marquez be the aggressor so that he counter. Marquez sometimes leads with his head or doesn't bring his right hand back after he throws and Mayweather can exploit that. I think that if Mayweather is aggressive like he was against Judah, he might have problems with Marquez.

Good question. I'm certain that JMM will want to make Floyd the aggressor. Whether he can achive that or not, is a different story.

That said, him backing up too much wasn't very effective against Diaz. When he stepped back onto the ropes Diaz managed to lay into him, land lots of short jabs, rough him up on the inside and land a lot of punches. JMM is obviously a counter-puncher, but he needs breathing space to be able to pop in and out and pick his spots. Obviously, PBF and Diaz are light-years apart stylistically, but I don't think JMM's the out-and-out counter-puncher people make him out to be. If he pushes Mayweather a little with flurries and stays out of the way for most of the time, that's his best hope. Staying in range all night isn't going to work against a bigger guy.

JMM will be the aggressor. After the Pac-JMM fight he became more aggressive and switches it up. His promoter told him that he needs to be more of an exciting fighter to appeal the masses. If you watched JMM last two fights he is more balanced.

I think they'll mix it up..I think since the size advantage is so big that Floyd will be able to pressure the smaller Marquez with alot of right hand leads and jabs to the body....The speed advantage will be big in favor of Floyd!
