Degale looked amazing in a few fights but looked terrible in his last fight and resorted to the same tactics as he used in his debut fight. He looked as though he learned nothing from his previous fights imo. Gavin has looked solid from start to recent, he fights the hardest oppostion imo and picks his punches very well. Looks like he holds a good beard aswell. Imo Gavin will surpass even Khan in the future. Thoughts???

    Quite Simply Gavin :good

Gavin will fight Khan in a few years too I suspect. Looks like Khan's time with Warren isn't to last too much longer. Gavin is being given a pretty decent start to his career and has fought decent oppo so far and I reckon Warren will want to put one over on Khan :deal

Speed is always a great thing to have. DeGale could have those special days if the speed is working for him. Overall Gavin is simply a much more solid fighter. He has much more to offer.

Gavin always keeps banging for the stoppage and I love that. Blood, sweat and tears Frankie is. Front foot or back foot, he is working for every round.

Fair comment pal, this isnt a slag degale thread as the lad is top quality, its simply a who will go furthest thread. I like Saunders but he seems like a wasted talent up to yet, like a certain Tyson Fury. Aswell Gavin certainly doesnt style have a boring which Degale does, i think the public will prefer him over Degale...

I think that with careful matchmaking they will all get titles... It's not about who you fight, it's about who you don't fight...:yep

I think that Gavin will clean up domestically in 2010...:good

I like Saunders style and he too will prosper under Jimmy Tibbs...

I like Jimmy Mc but think if Degale wants to progress he needs to change trainers... It is suggested that he is unwilling to leave London...:think

    Gavin for me

I don't think we will see the best of him until he steps up in class. The way he fights he needs the oponent to be coming at him so he can counter punch. Defensively he is brilliant, I just worry about his power when he moves onto world class.

Degale also looks a good prospect but he needs to get away from this Calzaghe slapping technique. It doesn't work for everyone. I think once he starts to judge the distance better and sits down on his punches he should move along quite quickly. Not convinced he will be a world champion though.

No disrespect to Degale, but I think Frankie is an amazing talent and is destined to be a long term world champion. James didn't look that great in his last fight but it's only early for him and he's also very talented. I think he needs to get down to Middle though...

    Gavin, simple reasons -

1.he does not talk **** like degale.
    2.he is more talented
3.he is willing to learn and look at training away from home turf
4.you either have that x factor or you dont and degale does not have it
5.i can see gavin progressing and getting beyond euro level but I can't see degale doing that.
6.degale is not marketable, he willbe the new audley if he does not sort himself out soon.
