Chad Dawson is the ONLY fight that makes sense.

Adamek and Cunningham? Why would BHop even waste his time?

Dawson, possibly Taylor 3 if he beats Froch but I'd rather Taylor fight on in 168. If he's not motivated for any of these then he could happilly retire.

Read the first two posts and agree with both, get him to retire Chad Dawson.

And once Taylor loses to Froch, Hopkins can beat Taylor again and correct that blemish on his record.

    I hope he fights Kessler

but the smart business and legacy move among most fans is Adamek for the CW title

    Hopkins would own Adamek.

Wanna make a avatar bet? I say Taylor beats the breaks off of the overrated Froch!

Avatar bet it is. What you going for i will have (should this fight go ahead and Froch loses) Valuev as my avatar for a month!!!

  9. If he plans to keep fighting he better get on something soon, he hasn't fought since October and at 44 layoffs are a recipe for disaster:-(..
He should retire but greed will not let him, the biggest logical choice dollar wise is Dawson, but he still has Tarver to deal with..
Kesseler would be a good fight, but the risk, for the amount of $$$ probaly wouldn't be worth it:verysad

Its a deal my friend...The winner will pick the Avatar and the loser has to sport that avatar for a month... Just as long as it isnt any homo type of ****!

    Is that fair enough?

    i'll predict this at least.

hopkins is going to bow out of boxing the same way holyfield is. i just don't see him laying down and calling it a day anytime soon at all, regardless of how successful he is in the ring.

That's a high probability. Like any aging legend, they don't know when to say when. They think they have one more great fight left. It will be interesting to see what Hopkins does for the remainder of his career. If he continues to fight, there will come a fight where age will show itself big time. What will he do next? He has tremendous pride, ego, and competitive drive. Will he be logical or will he let his ego rule his thinking like it's doing for Roy Jones?
