Definitely GGG. Rigo is extremely well rounded. I think GGG is talented, but very one dimensional and has never faced someone who can punch with him. Thats his greatest asset. If he finds someone who can deal with that, I dont know how he'd react.
It's an interesting question. Rigondeaux seems to now be fighting on the top level where opponents are good enough to merit having a chance. Golovkin isn't there yet so that would make me lean to Rigo in this poll. However, GGG fights more active and we don't know how he will handle the top level yet so that makes me sway toward him...
GGG for sure. He can punch but until he fights some better competition the verdict is still out. Rigo is the truth. He spanked Donaire...nuff said.
Agreed with modernfonzie. Although GGG is very skilled, he's not as well rounded as Rigo and could eventually be outboxed.
GGG because unlike Rigo he acutally fights..... Rigo fights once a year against some Thai cabdriver. But if he decides to mix it up with the elite again he'll lose.... He's ancient for his weight class and father time will catch up with him.
GGG is not losing at 160 no matter whom he fights. Rigo may lose via robbery to many of the more popular fighters.
I don't know. I didn't think Rigondeaux looked good in his last two. Guy might lose soon. Golovkin is for sure not losing at 160 lbs. this year. Maybe next year when you see Derevyanchenko become the IBF mandatory.
Rigondeux is a huge talent but I think he is starting to slip a little bit, maybe it's the inactivity but he hasn't looked great and has been and can be dropped, he can look vunerable. Golovkin is staying at middleweight for the time being, he wants Hopkins record and to unify the division and I can't see a middleweight who beats him at this moment in time. So I think Rigondeux will probably get beaten first.
