The rules are clear but the convention is coming. Hope Morales fights Ajose but he may vacate the title which means Ajose will fight for the vacant title. Preference is to fight Morales because he is a great and historic fighter though obviously seen better days.
With all respect to Ajose, do you not think his relative lack of reputation might convince Morales' he's a decent enough mandatory for him. It's clear to see that on his latest comeback, 'El Terrible' isn't looking for elusive opponents.
Let's hope so but there is a school of thought that after seeing the fight against Ali Chebah that Morales team will give up the belt and look elsewhere. I hope the fight happens.
