Who will Stevenson fight next?

He can fight a top contender next then wait for Pascal/Bute winner.

 

The safest thing a promoter could do is match up two guys he promotes. He cuts cost, maximizes profit and has nothing to lose. Why do you think most promoters prefer keeping it in the stable?

especially in this case if pascal get koed its pretty much over for him and it would be tough to comeback for stevenson too.

 

The winner of Pascal vs. Stevenson would still be a big draw against Bute.

But you are right. A good promoter should milk Stevenson's belt a bit. An easy defence next and then a big money fight.

If its Bellew, Stevenson himself should push for the fight taking place in the UK. Should be an easy nights work and would be good for his profile going forward. ...but it will probably be some bum, so who cares..

 

I can't believe people still put his name in boxing conversation for possible matchups. Dirrel is a nobody who hasn't fought in years and deserves zero chance at a belt or a big money fight right now.
