who wins luis ortiz v alexander povetkin ?

I have to agree with this. Ortiz is good but comparing resumes he's a lightyear behind Povetkin. Povetkin has Wach, Perez, Takam, Charr, Chagaev, Huck and Byrd on it as scalps. Ortiz managed to beat a geriatic Thompson and Scott. Jennings is imho his best win.

Actually they should make this fight. If Povetkin can keep off the peds for long enough to get the fight made, that is. It could be a really good one.

 

Alexander Pov already beat Luis Ortiz in the amateurs. He dropped him on his ass 30 or so seconds into the first round and landed virtually every right hand he threw and stopped him on the 20 pt outclassed rule in the 3rd. According to serge. My go to guy... Lol

This. Povetkin was eating leather from Takam for a couple of rounds and Takam is awful. Once Ortiz finds a place for his left hand Povetkin gets knocked out.

 

I'd still go with Povetkin. Ortiz has deadly power, but he's also painfully slow, not as skilled as Alexander, and hasn't proven his chin against a guy who can punch.

 

I HOPE they make this fight!! Along with Povetkin v.s Wilder. Alexander will bust them both out. No doubt about it
