Today LOpez and it isn't close.

I can't believe Lopez makes 122, the guy is a monster at that weight.

Nope not at all.. Not getting into resume here but Marquez is a much better fighter imo and we can get into resume talk after he retires..

Why would i be pissed when Marquez has a W over him? Barrera got smoked.

Are u denying the fact that Barrera is a very dirty fighter?

On what basis do you conclude that Marquez is a "much better fighter" than Marco Antonio Barrera, who has a far superior resume, and who actually gave him hell despite being past his best. Don't give me any bull**** about ages, we all know Marco had far more mileage on him, and 2007 turned out to be last year at elite level, yet he still had Marquez crawling on the canvas.

You clearly did not see the fight? Nobody got smoked, but Marquez was the one on the canvas. The general consensus before the fight was that Marco was way past his prime, and despite a decent effort from him, it was evident in his lack of stamina and body attack. Still, a close fight that really shouldn't have been close considering Marquez was at his peak.

Hamed got what he deserved. He was grabbing Marco all fight, backhanding him, and getting him in head locks. Likewise, Junior Jones was shouting him out at the press conference, as was the saint Erik Morales, who called him malicious names. Just because Marco ****s anybody up who disrespects him isn't a cause to all him a cheater.

Marco is one of the most complete Mexican fighters of all time, who has 2 genuine wins over genuine world class opposition in their prime, unlike Marquez. I like both fighters, but the way you think it's appropriate to trash a guy like Marco, who paid his dues from day one, is disgusting.

That's why i said let's get into resume talk later.. IMO Marquez is a better fighter H2h and he's much more complete..

Hell yea ive seen the fight like 20x and if i remember correct, it was round 7 or 8 where marco was getting blistered with combinations.. He was getting smoked which was why, once again he had to use a dirty tactic by hitting marquez while he was down.

Im not just talking about the hamed fight.. But still this is boxing and u dont ram people's heads into the ring post.

He sucker punched Mckenney and morales and ran away..

In the first pacman fight, things werent going his way so he started throwing intentional headbutts and punches after the bell.. GO ahead, deny it.

I never said marco was a bad fighter.. I respect his accomplishment and he's a great fighter but also a DIRTY FIGHTER who resorts to dirty tactics when things arent going his way..

    That's a fact.

Marco earned a far far superior resume to Marquez through hard work, and I actually think he is a lot more skilled both offensively and defensively than Juan Manuel Marquez, who appears to come up short every time he steps up. He even falls short when he doesn't step up, like against Norwood and John, two fighters Marco would have sent packing.

Instead of discrediting one of Mexico's greatest ever in any thread that mentions him, try conducting yourself like a proper fan of the sport. You remind me of *******s at times, and that is NOT a compliment.

And u remind me of a Marcotard by the way u deny the obvious... Last time we had this discussion and u blatantly denied how marco got real dirty against pacman.. That was a pathetic display by a so called champion.

Why are u keep talking about resumes? Marco clearly has the fatter resume at this point and nobody is denying that.

DO u actually believe that Marquez lost to Norwood? Did u see it?

U wanna get into this whole ABC logic? ok so u think that barrera wouldnt have had problems with Norwood..

What about Pacman??? Marquez didnt get dominated by him unlike marco..

The fact is FINITO, you had no business discrediting Marco in this thread to begin with. Nobody provoked you, instead of mentioning his awesome combination punching, his will to win, and improved defensive abilities after his losses to Jones, all which would have been relative to the thread question, you just called him a cheater.

I'm not denying Marco got frustrated against Pacquiao and acted unsportsmanlike. I'm also not going to deny how Pacquiao's socks excuse is the worst excuse I've ever heard in my entire life, but don't try discredit Marco every ****in' time he comes up in the thread. Your acting like a little *****.

I know that you're a loyal fan of Marco and i respect that but the first thing that pops into my head when talking about marco is how he's a GREAT dirty fighter. Im only speaking facts.

c'mon now, last time we were talking about the pacman fight, u told me specifically that you didnt REMEMBER marco getting dirty.. U denied it.

First thing that comes in mind when someone mentions Marquez is that he comes up short in big fights. Do I always make reference to that whenever he is brought up? NO!
