I think it would be interesting to see Bika in fights with Kessler and Froch, he may not win but he would make for a great fight. I thought he clearly beat Dirrell and anyone saying otherwise is probably being a bit biased. Dirrell did very little in there, he was holding and tying Bika up a lot himself and that little victory parade he did near the end putting his arms in the air in the last round and then complaining about not getting the decision was pathetic. Even the American commentators who seemed pretty biased to me had Bika up by 2. I'm not sure I want to see much more of Dirrell, and I doubt we will although I must admit this was a decent scrap. Next up for Bika may be Chavez or DeGale. How do people see him doing in them? I think he beats Chavez but loses to DeGale.
Me and 3 friends were only 5 rows from ringside last nite and all 4 of us thought Bika won handily.We didn't score the fight but all thought he was a good 3-4 rounds better. Great night at Barclays but long.:good

Good stuff mate I bet that would have been a great night out. How much did the tickets set you back? Also did you bump into any famous boxers sitting that close. I think that the judges were trying to help Dirrell out as well but if the money men had any sense they would back Bika over him because he is more reliable and more active.

Very true, one thing they don't lack is clarity, vision and drive even if their views are similar to that of a sociopath lmao. The dirrels seem to lack aggressive, violent, antisocial behavior thus the reason for their lack of success.
Dirrell wasn't active enough. I didn't score each round individually, I was too busy enjoying the bout. However, I had that "feeling" that it was a draw (point deduction and KD were a factor) or that the champion out-worked the challenger. Those body shots were impressive. In either event, I did not feel Dirrell took the belt, and that the proper decision was made. I would not mind seeing a rematch. Dirrell has a problem when the boxing action isn't "clean." Bika is a rough and sometimes dirty fighter, and it appears Dirrell can't adjust to that. Looked to me like he was looking to complain, when he should have got nasty in return.
I had it a draw, 113-113, same as Glenn Feldman. I gave Dirrell the first three (with the first two being close but Dirrell's work cleaner and Bika's aggression largely ineffective), Bika the fourth, Dirrell the fifth 10-8 obviously, Bika the epic sixth, Dirrell the quieter seventh where he made Bika miss and experimented with ambidextrous switching, Bika the eighth ninth and tenth, 9-9 in the eleventh - Bika's minus the point deduction, and Bika the last to make a clean sweep for Bika of the last five straight to keep it a draw and IMO deservedly retain his title.
