Then why post? The sport is as clean as it has ever been. There will always be controversial decisions because humans are involved. It would be naive to say the judges were not affected by their environment, but it is a huge step up to call that corruption. Produce the evidence that will stand up to judicial review to prove this 'corruption', and I will gladly eat humble pie and disown the sport...
My coverage of boxnation was a bit shaky but i had it 116-112 for Del Boy. Between that Biased ref, showboating and taking a few too many breathers Chisora could have done a little more than he could have to take this fight from the Fin but in no way should he feel ashamed, look at the fights hes opened up to now : Wladimir Klitshcko Vitali Klitshcko Robert Helenius 2 Tyson Fury 2 Michael Sprott Alexander Dimitrenko Price/Mcdermott Nevin Pajkic Id love to see him in against any one of these and not be disapointed (although the K bros would beat him with ease but still big fights)
Theres too many bad decisions like this to dismiss it as natural human opinion. Look at manny and marquez...plain as the nose on your face that a brand, and a lot of money, was being protected.
Two fights of the hundreds that have happened in the last few weeks. I can quite easily put that down to human error... You would need a much bigger sample to make anything stick. I would think you would need to show a general consensus 30% error rate over a number of years, before there could even be a debate over whether there is a case, let alone corruption! If you then somehow managed to prove this; who are you taking to court to sue? The Judges would blame the Promoters and Alphabet organizations, who in turn, would just blame each other or the National/State Commissions... And even then, if you somehow managed to clear that hurdle, you got years of appeals ahead of you...
I'm not so sure........I didn't vote for either as I thought it was a close fight.......and certainly closer than many here seem to think. Sure Chisora looked the aggressive and in my opinion landed more punches......but in terms of rounds won and rounds shared I thought it was mightily close. Chisora landed a lot of leather on Helenius guard......and whilst Helenius threw less leather.....I felt more of his punches got through Chisora's guard. So a close fight in my opinion that either boxer could have shaved depending on how the judges scored the close rounds......and there were quite a few of them.
There is. Judging by definition is opinion, thus the evidence does not 'speak for itself', it needs interpretation...
Look online Look at the poll here Look at the poll in the general See Fat Dans score, Roach's score etc. everyone had it for Chisora baring a tiny minority!
