People are just not used to seeing Cotto counter but he was countering the **** out of Mosely people just cant see it Cotto clearly won but Cotto made it closer by running at the end but he clearly won by at least by 2 rounds. I just dont get why so many posers dislike Cotto and are very biased. Although I had Cotto winning I admit it was close. But some of the scores I read about I think what ****ing fight were you watching. What robbery? Casamayor now that is one of the worst decisions ever.

    Cotto 115-113

its ridiculous how everyone is giving Mosley the 9th round just b/c Cotto started boxing. That was a beautiful round where Cotto was OUTBOXING Mosley! And he landed the harder shots. People are automatically biased to the person moving forward, no matter how ineffective.

couldn't agree more. even emanuel steward made the same point during the fight. mosley pushed the fight late but I dunno what people are talkin aboit him hurting cotto. cotto said he decided to box and perserve the lead becuz he knew he wasn't gonna ko a game mosley. mosley even agreed that cotto boxed well. it funny becuz the same people that gave mosley some of the middle round when he boxed and ran and even was booed at one point are saying cotto lost becuz he did the same more effectively in the later rounds. he clearly won the 11 and a case could be made for the 12 where neither fighter did much and he landed 3 solid shots.

great point.... Mayweather fights De La Hoya going backwards for 12 rds. and he wins clearly, Cotto does it to mosley for 4 rds. and he got a gift decision?

I scored the bout a draw, but I could see either man winning by a round.

    I had Mosely winning rounds 3,4,5,7,9,10,11,and 12

Cotto winning rounds 1,2,6, and 8

    116-112 for Shane Mosely!

There were alot of rounds that were close, but I felt that along with Mosely's consistent aggression, his shots carried more hurt behind them.

I had the fight dead even after 8.....but then Mosely landed a solid left hook on Cotto in the 9th that I believe hurt him. From there on, Cotto somewhat went into a shell and did'nt even try to throw the shots with conviction that he had been throwing earlier.

Had it not been for the atrocious scoring in the Casamayor fight, I would'nt make a stink about the Mosely-Cotto scoring.
The fight was competitive enough, and close enough, with both landing there fair share of hard shots, that I should'nt call it a robbery.

......but seeing that the judges in the Casamayor fight were on the take, I cant help but think that Mosely probably was'nt going to have a fair shake at a decision unless he without question dominated the rounds!

To Mosely's credit, he knew he was in a tough fight, fighting an exellent fighter in Cotto.
My hats off to Shane Mosely. He's really a diamond in the rough, in a sport full of corruption. Its just not in his nature to complain, especially knowing that it was really a close fight.

Did anybody notice that Max Kellerman did'nt want to rock the boat, and insinuated but did'nt come out and say that he felt Mosely had imposed his will on Cotto on won the fight!

Max knows better.....he wants to keep his job!:yep

Seems like every one who actually analazes the fight thinks Mosley one but as u notice its 70 to 30 in this poll for Cotto I expect that alot of his retarted as fans just clicked his name without even posting.

I also noticed the Max thing u could see he was dying to say he thought Mosley one and was hinting that threw the last 3 rounds. I also think Ledermen was swayed 2 as he has it 5-5 through 10 which is understandable but he gave Cotto the last 2 which is downright laughable especially when he ran away in the 12th :-( Did anyone else notice all the Putero Rican advertisements after every fight ? Poor Mosley needed the KO for a draw.

I caught a low quality web stream, so I can't really say who won, gotta wait for the replay.

I underestimated these fighter's ability to take damage and thought it would end in KO. But it still was very good and close. Cotto did look like he wanted no more from Mosley towards the end.

I scored it a draw 6-6 but im cool with a Cotto win, he outworked Mosley at times and looked to win overall.
