I had GGG winning by 2 points and I had Porter winning by 1 point. So GGG easily won more convincingly for me.
Considering that Golovkin was sick and old, and still did a better job than Spence, that's pretty embarrassing. GGG easily, I thought he won pretty comfortably in spite of the optics, he blocked and defended well throughout, and most of his punches landed fairly clean, and he scored a knockdown. Whereas Spence didn't even win on my scorecard even with a knockdown.
GGG. And he beat a VERY good technical fighter in Sergiy and did so gravely ill. Very impressive stuff from Gennady. spence is just overrated and got exposed.
GGG won a few rounds clearly, lost a few clearly, I gave him the win. Spence won most rounds, but each round was won by a tight-photo finish of a snot bubble. Not one round was clearly won by him, yet he won the majority of them. GGG had to win against a technically under rated boxer. Spence had to win against a workhorse who is often criticized for his physicality.
I must say Spence never was hurt as badly as GGG. Both fights were razor close to me but the saving grace for GGG, other than that stupid ref, was the KD. Porter never went down.
Nahhhhh Spence handled non-stop relentless pressure from Porter which is a nightmare for anyone. Spence never lost composure so he was far from exposed if anything he was elevated by his ability to take punishment
Both great fights...I do think after Chenkos outing that its pretty clear he is far more talented than porter or spence for that matter...the technician ah now we see...
