who would/should be next in line to challenge Smith?

Any ideas who would be next in line for a shot?

I think he will probably fight Magee and get beat pretty comfortably, a fight with Dilks maybe if the Magee doesn't happen

Smith sounded confident that Frank could land a WBO shot for him - when he get's KO'd in that one it will all fit into place.

Anyone else here think that smith should go back to Billy Graham?

The vaughans werent exactly giving him great advice last night. they were going from ''you hit him with a good shot there, that left hook, keep it up.'' to ''that right hand paul, that right hands gonna get him.''

i reckon he should get back with graham, who knows what hes really about and will help him put his bodypunches back together and fight on the inside.

Billy Graham is moving/moved to the Usa.

 

He needs to leave domestic and fight fringe world level. Personally i dont think he will do much tho i was impressed with his attitude yesterday. They should get him in with Jesse Brinkley, Contender v Contender would prob get him better known in the US and is winnable.

Dodson isn't the greatest on the inside, but he had Smith in all kinds of trouble..... it was only the referee being suckered by Smith's holding into taking a point from Dodson that dragged him out of the **** until Tony started fading.

Groves would smash him, it would be embarrassingly one-sided.

 

your right, dodson was getting the better shots off when it went to the ropes, experience helped him there. paul needs to be more technical. needs to learn to box better on the inside. hes got the punches, but not the grappling skills.

oh, and if u think smith was doing the holding, watch it again. whenever they hold, smith lets his arms go and u can see dodsons hooking him in so he cant step off.

 

Super Middleweight is one of weakest divisions domestically. I know there are loads of great prospects but there are absolutely no experienced fighters at the weight the only fighter with 15+ wins I think is Matt Thirwell (not including Tony Dodson) and the less said about that the better.

 

Dodson was intiating most of the clinches , i thought Paul looked ok last night , imo he needs to get fitter , that to me is his main problem , when he's on the outside looking to box he's good but he leaps in and initiates a clinch or gets too close and smothers his own good work .

Groves is too inexperienced for Smith at the min !!!!!
