Crawford said he wanted the fight since 2014. Manny said he wanted the fight before but was given Horn. Arum said he killed the fight because he didn't want it to happen. Why are Crawford and Manny getting the blame on this one?
Lol @ Crawford being faster than Floyd in foot speed and hand speed. I’m literally rewatching Crawford-Benavidez right now and Crawford got beat to the punch so many times against a dude with a messed up knee who’s nowhere near the laser accurate sharpshooter that Floyd was. Crawford makes A LOT of fundamental mistakes in the ring that he gets away with against those D-level opponents. He telegraphs a lot of his punches and attack in a straight line with his head open for short counters. ****, I’d even take the Mayweather who beats Berto to give Crawford a schooling. Bud is really good, but he’s not Mayweather, Jones Jr, Sweet Pea, SRL, etc, good.
Call me crazy, but I don’t see Crawford beating those versions either. Maybe the Floyd who fought Berto because Floyd basically phoned it in against Berto knowing that it was his last contract fight with Showtime. Crawford doesn’t impress me that much.
In my opinion, Floyd was #1 in his era and Crawford is #1 now. Both great fighters, I would pick Floyd to win but with no certainty.
Crawford was getting outboxed by Gamboa, and looked less than impressive against Kavaliauskas. He's not on Floyd's level.
